Between 7 and 16 November 2016, Philippe Dumand, President of Bordeaux City Bond and Mélusine Ampe, Managing Director, toured the Far East to meet many of their long-standing customers. Bordeaux City Bond, never content to rest on its laurels, is currently looking into developing new partnerships, taking its inspiration from other major warehouses, notably in Hong Kong and Singapore.
The Hong Kong Wine Fair is a particularly dynamic event, frequented by the major players in the Asian wine world as “the place to be” of the moment. Bordeaux City Bond was thus able to use its visit to the wine fair as an opportunity to meet its transport partners and to renew contacts with many of its customers who were also exhibiting. It was the perfect occasion to review the current status of their accounts and to plan their visit to the Bordeaux region for next year’s “Primeurs”. Vinexpo Tokyo is another essential event for Bordeaux City Bond. This year, as one of the year’s highlights, the Union des Grands Crus began its wine tasting in the heart of the wine fair.
Bordeaux City Bond is supported by a large number of operators in the sector and its ever-growing network offers an ideal opportunity to enhance customer loyalty. With its customers as key influencers, maintaining good client relationships is essential for Bordeaux City Bond. Although requiring a careful approach, the result reflects the quality and expertise offered by the warehouse.
Bordeaux City Bond will be joining the Bordeaux French Tech delegation to the Las Vegas CES being held from 5 to 8 January 2017. Yet another “unmissable” event for the warehouse. Permanently in search of innovative ways to meet the demanding needs of wine logistics, its visit to the show is in line with Bordeaux City Bond’s rationale in terms of continuing development.Mélusine Ampe will also take the opportunity to travel to the West Coast of the United States, to meet Bordeaux City Bond’s American customers.
